Never realised, but it appears as though interior cloth is all-black with no gray accents like we've seen in other US/Japanese pictures. IMO, it makes the interior much more classy looking. I believe it's quite possible because Canadian cloth FDs were supplied with a cool carbon-fibre like cloth whereas US models had a smoother more generic weave.

I also didn't realise that a front strut tower bar was included. Cool.

Would have been nice if Mazda had supplied the auto 4th gear (.694) into the manual (.843) for further improved milage. They have the same final drive, yet the auto does 8.8l/100km and the manual does 9.2l/100km.

No mention of the $100 paint option nor does there appear to be a price increase eh?

Base, red GS is looking more and more likely. :D

Yes, the base model is a well equipped machine, comes with Bose and limited slip, std. Don't overlook the GT too quickly, you get the Dynamic ride control, the traction control, (don't forget- its Canada!) not to mention HEATED/power/leather seats and the Xenons, all for about $2000,US. The HD lights alone are usually a $1k option....
