First Service (1000km)
Just had my first service and have had all of the little bits added.
If you had mixed feelings about the front door handle bezels in piano black - get them, they look great!
Had a couple of minor issues, creaking from the "b-pillar" area was caused by a lack of grease on the striker plates ... fixed! Plus a couple of questions I had about noises a rotary makes - it's my first
On the topic of oil, I just gave them a 5 litre container and they filled it up.
From the outside, the fender strakes really catch the eye. I got the scuff plates and they take a lot of the "plastic feel" away and getting into the car feels more classy.
Last but not least - the rotor valve caps increse rear wheel horsepower by 15% ... :D :D :D

OK - but daylight will have to strike!
$32 for hte oil for the oil change and another $32 for a 5 litre container full. (Which I thought was very reasonable!)

The guy said it's a 5w-30 mineral castrol - NON magnatec and that there will be a retail pack very soon.
(This is Brookvale Mazda on Sydney's northern beaches)
Looking at it, it looks like oil to me - but if anyone's really clever and can do analysis on it, I'd be happy to send some of it to them:D

Thanks Kev.
Send me a litre and I'll put it in my rotary analyser :p
Edit: I've sent an enquiry via the castrol.com.au web site. Will post any info I get.

A picture of high quality paving ... and scuff plates.
I'll post some better pictures of all the little bits when I learn to drive my camera.
