NZ Hi Everyone, New Member from Chch

Hey guys an Gals
Recently bought an 07 Rx8 Type S and decided to join the club. As you can see it's got the 19's from the latest model and a Mazdaspeed bodykit along with a few other small mods (exhaust, brakes, suspension) Let me know what you all think of the look . Oh and any other members from Christchurch? Would be keen to do a mystery tour type thing similar to the one organised in the north (awesome pics by the way guys)

Cheers Speed 8.
Type S is the JDM model (250hp + 6mt) We're lucky over here in New Zealand as we can get these imported as second hand straight from Japan.

Has stopped snowing but it iced over last night. Was an interesting/fun commute to work this morning

Nice. What colour 8? Might see you around.
What was causing the leak anyway?
As for performance parts depends on what you're after, local places I'd have a look at are Al Marsh (for engine work) and Japanese Race Supplies for bolt on bits. Other than those 2 Ebay is always pretty handy...

All the mods on my 8 were done to it prior to my ownership (in Japan) the only thing I've done is get a 5 star alarm. As for the mods so far there's an R Magic Titanium exhaust, S3 19's, Mazdaspeed front end, larger slotted brakes, and as yet unidentified suspension.

Sam if you're looking at what mods to make there's a lot of really good reading here on the forum (cant remember which part I was reading this morning but it goes into detail about the gains you can expect)

As for organising something I reckon a good drive somewhere would be awesome. Maybe watch this space... unless someone else would be keen to organise something?

NZ

Yeah I have been reading all the newbie guides to modding. They have been help full but I have a few plans for mine as it is a stock standard type s with some exhaust work done. Rims 5star alarm then if the cats arnt gone they will be going then if i can get enough info, the Cobb access port is looking on the cards.

I have found this Mazda® iPod® Integration Module wich could be a cool little mod .

first picture is my baby, secound is what i want it too look like. There is a set of those rims in chch, so next pay week they should be mine

If we're planning a trip I vote Akaroa for a day drive. Awesome roads, great scenery and a nice little place to stop at the end.
