Thanks for the apology, however, yes its a good habit to ask questions and find out all the answers prior to going out there - that way chances or being tricked/jooped into something is limited. I also tend to ask a lot of questions prior to doing something to the car - being female im extra careful - too many ********* out there just wanna trick the chicks.
But a little courtesy doesnt hurt, and doesnt cost you anything to thank the people who advise you. They take the effort to read your threads and then if i know these guys on here as well as I do they will probably go the extra mile to do some quick research for you when its not really their problem. So a thanks is nice to hear occassionally.
Anyway thanks for apologising and we are sorry for being abrupt -- look forward to seeing your future mods

Thanks! I'm planning to direct deposit http://www.performancedesign.com.au for Hymee exaust and grille kit. exaust = $935 AUD and $55 shipping fee to sydney. and grille kit is $198 shipping fee is included. Exaust is actually in production and it will be finished early next week. And plan to buy K&N Air filter 'typhoon' for rx8 from http://www.rocketindustries.com.au/ via direct deposit.. or even cash..and pick it up.. if it's possible. It was about $640 AUD.
These little things to start off. Might drop in to Advan to get more advice on Greddy kit. But think more about it, as i'm bit low on budget. I got about $8000AUD atm..and will be about $6000.. so i will still lack $4000... thank you for accepting my apology and understanding it. * special thanks for MissyK, Revolver, EZZY, Drewman, who are really active and helpful on rx8club.com *
p.s: http://rotaryinsider.com/rx8-9.html also.. this is great post for greddy turbo kit.. all the associated cost..and so on.

is the exhaust SS or MS?
and is it the s1 or s2 version for the typhoon kit? i reckon the k&n drop in filter will work and from memory i think it was less than $200 and takes about 10 mins to "fit".
check with missy, she has done all the above to her 8 (except for the turbo) and she will be able to tell you all the pros and cons of each......

you might be interested in looking at racing beat products aswell http://www.racingbeat.com
alot of us have their products and especially happy
I have their grill which is very nice, its actually made to fit ur radiator and oil cooler and very strong make. And I have a feeling the cost is around similar to that of the grill you are looking at, but i believe that is mesh that you slip over the front of the car - and not a direct fit like this 1.
heres some pix
This is the oil cooler protector on:
The radiator screen:
As for the exhaust - I want to buy either Borla or HKS soon - there are heaps of different exhausts u can get for good value aswell -
As for typhoon - do some research on the forums and you might find there are some negative comments about it. racing beat has their own but some people find problems there too. Any major intake system can play up with the car if there is a slight problem, sometimes there is a lose valve which sucks extra air in and then all ur engine lights will go on and may even cause power loss - this are stuff ive read from other people anyway. another thing to keep in mind with intake systems such as these are if you have some sort of problem with your car - mazda "MAY" claim that the problem exists due to intake. Your car seems still fairly new, you may want to just replace the stock air filter with the K & N stock replacement panel - thats just wat I think anyway - up2 you.
seriously tho - if you plan on going turbo, dont waste ur money with the smaller mods like exhaust, K & N etc. When you get turbo you will make the changes that match your set up. Save your money and put it aside for the turbo.
If you want any small changes:
*grill kit - either racing beat or 1 ur looking at
*K & N panel stock replacement
*racing beat revi duct (not the revi intake system)
*short shifter which I think you can purchase from performance design
*bodykit
Any engine mods - I personally wouldnt bother if you plan on going turbo. I would just make the changes all at once.

The k&n air filter is the type 2 from rocket industries
I have one on mine ($200 on eBay)
its a little on the loud side but I usually drown it out with the sound system (which I have also upgraded with tweeters and a sub/amp)
