Hello, about buying air filter and tuning with 10k

HI, i've questions bit about turbo and so on..

well i've only driven 15000 with rx8. so i want to put air filter and exaust to start off.

and i still lacks with money for turbo.

now i got 8k. ( working mad, like 10 hrs a day. 5 times a week. )

well soon.. i will get over 10k... or something around there.

Was thinking about buying greddy turbo kit..with bov..timer...controller..new hose.. like all the associated cost..

and was estimated to be like 12k...

well it's still around 10k..

are there any other tuning with 10k to get turbo charged? or even super charged.

I'm also interested in buying K&N air filter...

rx8 one..is..something like "typoon"?? how much would this be in AUD?

anyone know where i can buy in trust?? hopefully workshop...so i can speak to real person.

Summary ( for people who can't be bothered reading )

1. Suggestion with budget of 10k~13k tuning? especially turbocharged.

2. Want to buy K&N air filter for rx8. shop? location? good reputation?

Thanks!

If the car is still under warranty, raise this problem with your local Mazda service centre. It is reasonably common for '03, '04 and some early '05 cars. Most will replace the starter motor, batteries and plugs, no questions asked.

If you want to stay local, check out this:

http://www.rotormaster.com.au/subPage.asp?cid=50

Otherwise, speak to Mazfix in Brisbane. I'm yet to hear of a Sydney shop with a better developed turbo kit and instal.

AUTOBARN are vendors of the K&N equipment via Rocket Industries.

Call any AUTOBARN and they can help you out with K&N.

Oh FFS!

If you can't locate a phone number for Autobarn all on your own, I'm not sure you should be piloting a FI RX8.

Exert a little effort please.

As demonstrated earlier in the thread, I'm happy to share what little knowledge I have in answer to genuine queries.

However, when someone is too lazy to look for a phone number, they'll get both barrels every time.

Oh no, I agree with you completely on the fact that he was too lazy to even type in www.whitepages.com.au and search for autobarn. You had a reason to crack it, it's ok. I was more pointing at everyone's tone today.
