Had the above installed earlier this year and the engine started with ease. However, recently when starting the car I have noticed at times when I hold it onto "ON" to start the engine I hear a loud screeching noise after which the car starts. Started happening very often now and I miss the quick and clean starting I had at the start of the year. Does it sound like a new starter motor is in question?
