I remember someone who works at HP here...a question.
I have a serious problem with my Ipaq. I was in the middle of updating the ROM and the power went out, so it's locked up. Need HELP!

I don't have a Ipaq but a Dell Axim instead.
If this happens with an Axim there is a method of flashing the ROM with what is called a "bootloader" sequence. I believe this is a feature of all PPC ROM's so you should be able to do it as well. The PPC OS maintains a small section of ROM that never gets written over thus allowing a basic boot to be started even if the ROM flash gets screwed up.
The procedure will start with putting your ROM image onto a blank memory card. Then a specific series of buttons most be pressed to initiate the boatload. The procedure is different for each model.
Try checking the forums at http://www.mobilitysite.com or http://www.brighthand.com and search for the terms "bootloading" or "bootloader" to see if the instructions for your model has been posted.

I think I might need HP to fix it. I tried the (four button) reboot it and it doesn't work. Sucks.
