SilverEIGHT 06-11-2006, 11:27 AM Great! Look forward to seeing you Saturday.
whenson417 06-12-2006, 04:09 PM Hey Chaz, you plan on dyno'ing your newest RX-V8 this weekend or is it still getting put together?
Spyder_doo 06-14-2006, 05:31 PM dang I'm planning on going to panama this weekend or else I'd come down....I need to dyno it to adjust the boost. I'm gonna try to see if I can fit this into the trip. I'll be brining the MazdaSpeed if I come.
SilverEIGHT 06-14-2006, 05:57 PM Spyder_doo, come on down. We'll let you run first so you can take off if you need to. I want to see that Miata.
RedLineShinka 06-14-2006, 06:16 PM I think I need to make an appearence... wash the pretty thing first then show up... alrighty - I'll be there....
9am geeze guys, some of us go out on Friday nights!!
TrackAddict 06-14-2006, 06:30 PM I will not make it to the dyno. While you guys are on the rollers, I will be on the banking of Rockingham doing it track ho style
SilverEIGHT 06-14-2006, 08:12 PM TA, would love to have you with us but considering the alternatives, going fast or standing still... hummm. I think you made the right choice.

I won't be dynoing the RX-V8 yet but hope to get it running this weekend so my stay at the dyno will be really short so I can get back to the shop. c u soon.

SilverEIGHT 06-21-2006, 11:38 AM From the thread: The RX-8 Dyno Results Compliation (http://www.rx8club.com/showthread.php?t=77031&page=5)
Just back from Dynolab in Marietta. I'm not sure what's going on with the chart above 7K RPM but it did the break up thing 3 times. Each time we moved the contact locations. I then cleared the memory and tried it again for this 4th run of the day which was the best but this breakdown in the signal is really bothering me. Two other 8's ran and did not have this problem.
My change before this run is new coils only. No modifications. There is a modist gain over the last run.
