I own a 2004 Mazda RX-8 (firmware version 9.53) and an IPOD video. It looks like products which might allow me to play my IPOD throgh my sound system are Neo iOn and IceLink. Has anyone used either of these? If so can I get info on installation?

Next (this is probably a stupid question) does the fact the my firmware is version 9.53 kill the chance of using these products (or other similar ones)> I read I must have firmware version 9.55 to use these. Can I "upgrade" firmware and if so how? Or am I just out of luck?

ANY help appreciated! I have been looking into this for a while!

We do offer a firmware upgrade so you can use the ICElink and/or Neo.

In addition we will be offering a brand new IPOD controller in the future (a couple of months) that will display song information on the factory screen and require no firmware upgrade.
