View Full Version : How long was it from "projected build" to "happy driver"? the_doug 08-10-2003, 09:31 PM I know there are zillions of variables that affect how long it takes from an 'under construction' car to a delivered car... I've got the tan/black interior too, and everyone so far thinks it looks great. And as much as I'd love to be driving it right now, 1) I have to work to pay for it :) and 2) I had knee surgery two weeks ago and don't get off the crutches till Friday. My husband drove it off the lot, and then drove it all over this weekend (with me in the passenger seat barking orders- "Get away from the Jersey wall!" "Look out for that pothole!" STAY UNDER 6000 RPMS!!"). I did test drive one three days before the surgery, so, unfortunately, I know exactly what I'm missing and it's driving me nuts.
