View Full Version : '05 Base 6MT deal at hand...
$21380 for an '05 Sunlight Silver Base 6mt RX-8... signing on it tomorrow, but just making sure if i can get it even lower :)
and i'm sorta new... i've been lurking for a while now... joined a few months back
jdfording 01-28-2006, 08:42 PM Wow that sounds like a great deal. I got a quote today from Lou Bachrodt Chevy/Mazda in south Florida for $23,138 and that was with $2,500 customer cash. Looks like I may be able to go lower.
RotoRocket 01-28-2006, 10:29 PM chAi - that's a good price, but ,y .02 cents says go with the Sport Package, because the Dynamic Stability Control can literally be a lifesaver. It really should be standard equipment as far as I'm concerned.
ZoomZoomH 01-28-2006, 10:50 PM wow that's a great deal... get it
Terrance26 01-29-2006, 12:53 AM Damn sounds like your a good negotiator. What options are you getting.
RotoRocket: Yeah they have an 8 with the Sport Package on the lot and I was eyeing that one and even told them I would really prefer that one... but they stood firm on the price and I couldn't get them any lower than $25,550... :tear:
Terrance26: its just the base model... nothing else on it...
Everyone else: thanks for the enthusiasm guys... just makes me even more confident that I'm getting something awesome for an nice low price :)
mazdazoom 01-29-2006, 06:47 PM whats the mileage on it? I'm trying to find one in the vegas area for a good price.

58 miles, brand spankin new... Mazda only has the $2500 rebates... but they gave up the extra $1100 to sell the car... signed the dotted line, picking it up on Wednesday they're replacing the battery and fuses + detailing, and the most important full tank of gas
ZoomZoomH 01-31-2006, 12:10 AM congrats on hell of a deal!
wow....you guys are lucky I screwed up on my car.. i payed 25otd for a pre-owned one
mazdazoom 01-31-2006, 12:24 PM I want to find a deal like that! The one's on the dealer lots out here are 28K-31K for the 05's! I wonder if I go in, will they negotiate and drop the price cause they want to sell them?? The high price listed is keeping me away.
ZoomZoomH 01-31-2006, 12:32 PM ^sticker price on the 8 is a joke, go knock 'em dead and get a nice deal

its best to walk in and have a sit down with a dealer... that's what i did... Magic Mazda should do some dealing... and if all else fails... buy one in LA... that's what a few of my friends did, drive to LA from Vegas and roll back... :)
hemanrulez 01-31-2006, 06:14 PM Love it when people buy a 20-30 grand car and get excited on a free full tank of gas.
Nice deal though.

I'll be going to the local dealer out here (Henderson/Gibson) this Saturday and maybe I will get lucky and post here Monday on my new ride...who knows. I will see what kind of deal they can give me.
I definetely want to do that test drive though...then I will know for sure.
