Hey, friends. I'm a recent owner of a 2004 RX8, racing blue in color, hadi it less than a month. It's a fun car, and I'm actually still learning to drive it, coming off of a 1993 Ford Mustang I've been driving for more than ten years and almost 200k miles. The drive back on Hwy 1 through Big Sur definitely helped the learning curve. Try it if you get the chance.
Anyway I was in So. Cal. for the Holidays and was parked on Colorado Blvd. in Pasadena on the 24th just East of Old Town near Zinke's Shoe Repair. I'm walking back to my car and see a ticket on it and am surprised and pissed b/c no meters, etc. Turns out it was a slip from a So. Cal. member of rx8club.com inviting me to a meet near the airport! Relieved at no ticket and surprised at the comradery.
I'm near SF so couldn't make the southern one, but I'll try to catch one here locally.
