hoping someone can help me. i recently got my turbo and the next day the engine light came on. I read Benny's post about getting a new harness, but i asked the shop that installed the turbo and they said that the turbo did come with 3 adaptor. any ideas on what else could be wrong?

First things first: get a scan tool. You need to be able to read the trouble codes yourself if you are going to do things to upset the natural state of the car - like FI.

I get the CEL's a lot. They are never anything to worry about, at least on my car. They were misfires, smog pump codes, complaints about the AFR, etc. The misfires were mostly caused by my cold plugs when first starting-up. I have since changed back to the stock plugs for cold weather. No more misfires.

Chances are nothing is really wrong. Think about it: things are really different for the PCM now. Don't be surprised if it complains.

my engine light comes on too, it came after couple of hours later when i got the turbo, i asked the guy and he said it is because of the blow off valve, is it true or is there something wrong with my car?
