yea the car is fine to drive in winter if the road is cleared of wet/icy stuff

just know that the traction of the tires will be noticeably less compared to during warm seasons, drive as appropriate to available traction, and you'll be fine

I agree, the Bridgestones are fine as long as there isn't any white stuff or slush on the road.

I drove thru a couple days of at least a couple inches of slush and snow last year. Car was a bit jittery...but otherwise managable thanks to the TCS/DSC. W/o those, the car wouldn't go very well at all. OEM Dunlops, btw.

I had a problem with them when the thermometer dipped below 40 degrees. And by 20 degrees they were hard and had very little grip. There is a reason why they are classified as summer tires.

^^ Me too...rubber gets really hard at low temperatures. By freezing..they are like skates.

Snow tires..or good all seasons are a must unless you are just puttering to the store.
