this mod claims to ad 20 bhp therefore making the lower bhp model even more interesting mor torque than higher model and nearly similar bhp but not quite is the higher model really worth 2k more for 6spd and xenons open for argument...
this mod may be no good...

Doubt it works.. It's just somebody trying to make a quick buck. It might just be instructions on how to take the air box out for all I know

The same thing is being hyped for other cars. Since it works on fuel injected cars, they advertise it as working on cars since 88 when they became real popular. The add is a cut and paste job.

It is a chip/resistor that fools the ECU into thinking that air is colder/denser so it adds more fuel to the mix. Depending on the car's timing it may be able to use the extra fuel for a bit more power but with worse fuel economy. If the timing is not right, the extra fuel won't burn and will go out the tail pipe.

For a full discussion go to Miata.net Power forum and do a search there. Beware these get extra power for nothing adds. If it was real the car company would have done it. Power costs money, how fast do you want to go?

doesn't that means rx8 in cold climate area is faster than those in the sun belt??
