Evolv-Chicago is setting up a CyberSport event at CIR in Addison. It is very similar to whirlyball, and for those of you who don't know what either of those are, think lacrosse in bumper cars, on a basketball court.

Evolv Chicago members will once again be joining with Windy City Miata Club and other Mazda owners for this event. Free food, DJ, giveaways and more. Last year we had myself, Al Nielson, MDW1000, lilring, yanaki, and some others (for a total of about 7-10 rx-8's). There was one rx-7 (right hand drive FC) and over 35 Miatas from Windy City Miata.

This is a good dealership, there are no sales guys bothering people, just a nice big, well-lit parking lot cleared out for us, food and good conversation. My name is Mark, just moved to Champaign, IL from Hawaii. I've always been interested in building cars. Well, I had to take over payments for my ex-fiance's car, which happens to be a 2005 RX8.. AT.

I recently purchased a turbo kit for it and will be ordering a cobb access port soon. I have a slightly used greddy T618Z bolt on kit w/ intercooler.

Well, I don't have tools and much space to do this job. Is there anybody here that knows a shop or person I can trust to help me install, or do the install for me? Also, approximately how much and how long will it take??

I am trying to weigh things out and see whether or not it is just better for me to invest in the tools and do it my self.

I know almost nothing about RX8s because I spent most of my time building my 97 Eclipse to reach 300WHP 298ft.lbs torque. =) My awesome project that I finished but had to sell due to inheriting huge payments for this RX8.

I have finally accepted the fact that my ex screwed me over. So, I'm gonna start loving the car I have by hopefully installing this turbo soon. I have a limited amount of funds that I can spend. So please, let me know!

Also, what are the MAZDA Part numbers for the things I need, like exhaust gasket, other gaskets, screws, etc prior to attempting the install?? hehe

Hello Mark, we can probably hook you up with someone up here that will do the install if you wish. Anyway here is a list of RX8 part numbers. It's for an 04, but that shouldn't make any difference. If the numbers are old, the dealer or online supplier can cross it to the correct one.
