Hi - I just moved to Hillsboro from Arizona a month ago. I took my car into Royal Moore in Hillsboro to have the 15K mile service done. Everything seemed to be okay, but right as I was about to leave the service guy told me that I really needed my tires replaced as soon as possible. He said that the tires only had about 20% tread left. The car is only 1 1/2 years old, so I didn't think that made much sense.
Over 4th of July weekend, I went up to WA to visit my sister and had her neighbor take a look at the tires. He works for some tire place up there. He said there's no way I need new tires and he even showed me on the tires where the tread bar was. Said that I probably wouldn't need new tires for at least another year, depending on how I drive it of course.
Now I'm just wondering why on earth Royal Moore would tell me that I only have 20% tread left on the tires....I was hoping that this would be a dependable dealership since they're located right near the house I'm having built. Guess I need to find a different dealership to go to. My brother-in-law told me that I need to call them up and bitch them out, but that's not really my style.
Any ideas as to any other dealerships that I can use?
Thanks,
Anna
