Thanks.. Gyro 07-14-2003, 10:08 PM I will know tomorrow. My car will be in. I'm getting the stock stereo. eccles 07-15-2003, 12:12 AM Took a test drive in a Sport package this evening. Watch for my report in the RX-8 Discussion forum in half an hour or so. Sputnik 07-15-2003, 12:03 PM Actually, we're looking for a more detailed review of the stereo, more than the limited reviews of the stereo that is amongst the overall reviews of the car. Would someone measure something for me? In the trunk, under the rear parcel shelf, the amp (silver lookin' thing I believe) is located between the two rear speakers. What I am interested in is the distance between the two "beams" that the amp and speakers are tucked in between. ---jps Gyro 07-16-2003, 04:00 PM I have the stock stereo (not Bose).....no amp between the speakers Sputnik 07-16-2003, 05:52 PM Originally posted by Gyro I have the stock stereo (not Bose).....no amp between the speakers Okay, but you should still have the same two "beams" under the rear parcel shelf, and I'm actually interested in the distance between those two beams, please. ---jps Gyro 07-16-2003, 05:53 PM ok.....let me check...........I'll take a pic also Gyro 07-16-2003, 08:07 PM Here is the "no Bose" rear deck. the dimension you want is vertically in this picure correct? Give us a full review! :) : Sputnik 07-17-2003, 11:23 AM Originally posted by Gyro Here is the "no Bose" rear deck. the dimension you want is vertically in this picure correct? That's the spot, but actually, I'm looking for the horizontal measurement. Basically, I'm looking to see say, how big of an amp can be put in the same location as the BOSE amp. ---jps |
