My dealer (who has been excellent) informed me that my car is in port! I put in an order for accessories (MP3 player and faceplate and some mazdaspeed parts) today. Arrival END OF JULY!!!! OMG!!!:D :D :D

Apparently there is a delay at port for the first shipment because of failed emission tests (unconfirmed).

Are there any lucky canadian owners out there who have recieved their cars?? Is the performance tuning better than the pre-productionts (hence failed emissions)?

And do we get clear indicators or yellow in Canada or what??? (Searching the board gives no clear ;) answer).

American and Canadian cars have the yellow indicators, everyone else gets the clear ones. I hope that helps.

I believe we are getting amber indicators because it is the law in Canada..
But I have seen quite a few Volkswagens with clear side markers near the doors, so maybe there is a way around it.

Of course you can take your chances and change them for Japan spec clear ones.
And maybe put on some blue LED windshield washer heads too..

You can have clear indicators in Canada but then the bulb must be amber. You can have clear indicators in Canada but then the bulb must be amber. That being said, look shortly to the Internet for European conversion kits.

Canzoomer, would it be possible to pick up clear markers for us when you do the Japanese accessories order?

Certainly, as long as the dealers in Tokyo have availability.
I am sure they can be had.

I will post on the list once I find out for sure.

Very interesting because I was wondering what the heck the MP3 player option is all about! I noticed it was something like $700! So what is this exactly???
