Has anyone mounted their laptop in their car yet? If so what have you used and how is it working for you? Reason I ask is I'm running different maps in my with the CZ and I'm tired of my laptop just sitting in the passanger seat. Thanks.

MazdaManiac has a Dell laptop built into his car that controls his E-Manage I believe. Search for his thread about it.

I wish someone would come out with something that could switch maps on an e-manage with just a PDA... a whole computer for that simple program really seems like overkill

No, but here is my plan:

I have the S-Video switcher from AV Electronics, the PIE Aux-In module, the E-Manage Support Tool, and Hymee's sCANalyser, all ready for my car pc. I have the CZ's USB cable routed from the PCM box through the firewall behind the washer fluid reservoir and into the cabin. So, the end result will be a car pc that will run all this software, change CZ maps, play mp3's, dvd's, iTunes visualizations, etc. on the NAV screen with sound going through the HU. The only piece missing is the pc. I'm looking at the mini ITX pc's from http://www.logicsupply.com.

Sounds like a good idea. That is basically what I wanted to use my laptop for. Not just for the CZ. I am planning on getting a NAV. program as well. Maybe once I run into somemore money down the road, I'll go more along the lines of what you are doing. Right now It's all I can do just to pay for the car :P If anyone knows of some pretty cool laptop mounts for a decent price please let me know!
