Ray Causin (Marina Mazda) thinks he might get a status update tomorrow but doesn't know why they've been at port for several weeks. [sigh]

So to Ray's best knowledge, the trucks have not been loaded?! :(
I thought the 8's would at least be loaded and en-route by now. I guess we'll have to wait for Ray's update.

Anyone live close enough to mosey on over to the port and see what's really happening with the cars? Are they being cleaned? Repaired? Junked? Maybe you can buy a drink for one of the guys working on the car and get the true, untold story.

Like I mentioned in another forum. the ocean-facing ports serve as the importing transit port where they are distributed to the regions. The ocean ports also serve as the regional port for final dealer delivery. They will likely all release simultaneously when Mazda says "go".

I checked with Irvine Mazda today (5pm) and the cars are still at the Port. So I guess Monady is the soonest. Ugh.

Yes. While waiting for John I talked with Ali, who tried to sell me a nice looking 4cyl Mazda6, then a spice orange MSP Protege, and finally a Miata. I told him if I had enough money I'd buy all those cars (well maybe not the M6), but right now I only had enough money for the RX.

John said he had called Cerritos and they also had nothing. I misread ibfubar's post and thought Browning already had them.
