im sure this is the wrong area, but i know they mods will move it. but the rx-8 workshop manual is online for dealers. and looking at the tire pressure monitor. it is attached to the valve stem. so any wheel will work, just have to swap the valvestem/control unit with the new rims. anyway just thought you guys would like to know!

Anyone know or care to speculate when 15 or 16" steelies will be available for the 8? I've got to get some prior to winter coming.

Did you get the GT with the bigger brakes? I've read on this board that 16' rims may not fit.... :eek:

One would hope not, but on the Technical Hiughlights CD thay did say that the system was incompatible with aftermarket wheels. Guess we'll have to wait and see.

Fubbie,

since you have access can you tell us what the wheel specs are ie... backspacing and bolt pattern/diameter?

L {US qt, lmp qt}

Item Oil capacity (Approx. quantity)

ahh can you translate that fubes? i'm not sure i understand what you posted there. wha does " Oil replacement 3.6 {3.8, 3.2}" and the rest of the numbers mean?

oil replacement means if you drain th oil from the oil pan refill with 3.6l. if you drain with replaceing the oil filter fill with 3.8l. if you overhaul the engine fill with 5.0l and if the engine is completely dry(ie new engine) fill with 6.1l. {the number in the brackets are us qts and impqts}
