View Full Version : Possible DIY: Flip Toggle Switches

I've seen some threads about MT/GT drivers that complain about accidently turning on the heated seats during shifting. I was browsing around and I think I found a solution:

There are other styles out there but these are carbon fiber and look pretty cool. I'm not familiar with the electrical components/voltages of the heater switches so I dont know if these will work.

Thoughts?

i have them.. in replacement of the heated seats position would look terrible... CF doesnt look as good as i'd hope if you look closely. looks fine from a distance..... i have them for my underbody neons interior neons a dud and for the dcs... (left side of drivers spot where headlight switch and dcs switch were...

much easier to just recess the switches in the console...make the top of the switches flus with the console...I plan on doing this in the future, with the nav controls too

The problem with the original switches is that they are around where you rest your right arm. If you had those flip switches on there then they would dig into your arms. I plan on removing the console and unplugging those switch connectors so you can't even turn them on.
