When I first say this, I thought "hmmm, looks like an RX-8" and then dismissed it, until I realized that Billy Ford gets to play with the toy soldiers in both the Mazda and the Jaguar boxes.

I wonder if this concept "Jaguar" is actually just our car wearing a lot of makeup and jewelry? The wheelbase has been extended about 6" but the overall length is within an inch. This could have been accomplished by just moving the rear axle back.

Opinions? Anyone care?

 

It's based on the RX-8 architecture. The concept's been around for more than a year now.

 

I see RX-8 from the front...

Tiburon from the side...

And Infiniti FX from the back...

 

I "see" nobody bothered to do a search on "jaguar r-d6"....

 

whoa, I'd say somewhere between cool lookin' & butt ugly! Naw, it's not ugly, I just wouldn't be driving it.

 

Yeah I saw an episode of Car Business (with Jeremy Cato and Michael Vaughan) where they had a little segment on this car. Aparently the person responsible for this jag's design is the brother of one of the designers responsible for the 8's.

Go figure.
