I got a scratch on my hood the first day I got my car. Therefore I've been puting off getting a clear coat until 1. I had the money and 2. I could get the scratch fixed.
Well, driving to florida didnt seem to help any as I now have a ton of chips and scratches on the front. Most people wouldnt notice them but they are driving me crazy.
Anything realatively easy or cheap I can do for this?
Thanks for the help

I had the same thing. They drove my 8 down from a dealer in Sacramento to here in San Jose for me to pickup and on the way down here it had a pretty big chip in the hood. They noticed it and before I left gave me a day to come back to fix it. Instead, they just gave me a whole new hood lol.
I would think you could buy the factory touch up paint, try it out.

I got two bottles of the factory paint in the mail a month after I bought my car. I didn't ask for them, they just showed up along with a revised manual.

general rule of thumb is, if your finger nail catches, it's no good. touch up paint might do the trick, but to me, it still looks shitty. i've got chips and scratches here and there too...i hate it.

exactly what i am going to do, once i get a kit on, right after the body shop, it's going to get a clear bra on. A lot of money, but well worth it!
