Hey all, I've become a reseller of leather goods, so I'm supplying you guys with custom genuine leather shift boots made from Italian Calfskin.

I just put some in my car to show them off they look pretty cool eh? I can do you for any color combination of leather and stitch color, for more info and if you'd like one see this thread, in my vendors forum. http://www.rx8club.com/showthread.php?p=786148#post786148

For a DIY on how to install these see here: http://www.rx8club.com/showthread.php?p=786178&posted=1#post786178

Any questions?

I take it the leather is more plyable than stock?

As for the 2 tone,
I was thinking, a boot that looks like the lighted stick shift knob.
Have the tan color interior....
(Black on the front, Chaparral "tan" on the back and sides)
Is this possible?

See picture....

I take it the leather is more plyable than stock? Yes very much so, the stock synthetic leather not much more than vinyl is very paper like, these are thicker more soft and form holding like "real" leather. I took a picture to show you what the inside of the stock shift boot and the inside of mine look like.

See picture.... Yup, Yup :) 2 Tone boots are the same price too, you'll have to define for me a little bit better which side is "front" "back" etc......

I attached a quick photoshop, IMHO if you start alternating black tan black tan it will kinda look like a court jesters hat. See attachment, but it coould look good, once again IMHO best to do one side in tan the other side in black. I've notated the "front" in my picture my having the shortest stitch facing forward and the arrow.

Let’s say the boot is in 4 parts...
Front is towards the radio. (Black)
Side, Left & Right of the car.... (Tan)
Back is towards the rear of the car... (Tan)
If you can do that I am in....

Tan Stitching.
Lighted shift knob with short shifter (RP)

See my PM on how to request, btw I stongly suggest black stitching as it will give you more contrast on the 3tan-touching sides.

quick question.

I may go for a RP, or MS short shifter in the near future. Will this fit either of them?

Yup I installed mine on the RP shifter see the DIY, the mazdaspeed knob works with the stock shift boot and dimensionally these are the same so that won't be an issue.

Redline Goods also sells the same thing--I got mine from them black/tan stitching.

yes..... as you mentioned in my other thread, to which I replied.

Yup, its made by the same quality people, Redline Goods' owner is actually a polak himself, company is located in warsaw, so he hooked me up.

There is one minor difference in that the Illuminated knobs slit isn't cut down as far as his were, that way you can't see the insulation when the leather folds. O and they are less expensive ;)
