I need a new clutch in my 8 already and the dealer wants like $1100 for it.
Is this a normal price? If not then does anyone know where i can get a new clutch installed near the Athens Georgia area cheaper with reliable service?

Check out http://www.hi-impact.org/ryang/modify/rx8_clutch/rx8_clutch.html for a list of various clutch parts and how much I paid for them. Figure labor is 6 hours times whatever your local hourly rate. Flywheel and counterweight are only if you are going aftermarket. I bought an ACT lightweight flywheel for $250.
If you didn't glaze the flywheel you might get away with only a new friction disk.

I used to live in Athens. Try Tommy Dillard at Five Points Automotive. I used to hang out at his shop a lot as a kid. He's the only person that I trust with my Mom's car. He's at the corner of South Milledge and the Macon Highway. He won't do you wrong. Tell him Tim Edwards sent you.
