Greddy Turbo & Backfiring ?

Anybody else experiencing this. On my car it has a backfiring/popping at random times. I used to have this issue even when stock, but now it seems more often & more random. Hear a popping sound, sometimes several in a row at random times. it used to be when I was deceleratin, now it seems when I am decelerating, or even just cruising. Talked to greddy and they said that is normal, but if I lean out the fuel a bit, would that help the issue a bit (less excessive gas to be burned off).

Backfire. It's coming out of the tailpipe, not the engine bay. We tested it on the dyno & it ran fine. I think the thing is running pig rich, Greddy has built this kit very safe, but it is not burning up the fuel & it is coming out of the pipes as backfire.

Haven't stood behind my car to see that. I do have a Sr Motorsports hi-flow cat on mine (w/resonator). Maybe if I had a straight pipe it would be more pronounced.

Still running the stock password protected E Manage unit. No changes to the Greddy program(for me)...yet.

Hope this isn't a serious question . "hey why is my car loud now"? Maybe because you put an exhaust on it. Its kind of like that type of question
