that would be because he doesn't work for mazda anymore. he teaches at a design center. and while he still has contacts he also still has ethics. if he knows things it's because he was told in confidence and he keeps that confidence. and yes it was a typo.

I killed it. It was obviously a type because, as I read on miata.net he's been saying the rx-7 will be on the FE/rx-8 platform. My mistake. So it's not a breach of an NDA because he's already said it! :)
