They've worked on RX-7s for years and are starting to work on RX-8s as well. The owner Rick owns an RX-8 that he tinkers with. They've done several clutch installs including mine. Charged $400 (labor only) to completely replace the clutch and did a couple other small things at the same time for no additional cost. Bern recommended them.

One thing Rick did that I've never experienced is the day after the install he called me up to see how everything was going with the car. That's a nice touch and I appreciate the customer service. He lurks on this board but hasn't posted, so he's familiar with various threads.

Glad it worked out fine PUR NRG. Rick has been in the Rotary game for many years, and his shop is one of the well recommend shops in the Bay area.

y you have to replace your clutch???? any problem??? upgrading????
how much they charge for a compression test? do you know?

I replaced it with an ACT 9lb flywheel. If you want rate quotes I suggest you call them direct.
