Just wanted to remind everyone that the Raleigh Rotary Drive-Ins will be held on Jan. 8th and 22nd at the Char Grill on Strickland Road. We'll be moving the start time up to 5:30 pm for January and February to get a little more twilight for the start of the Drive-Ins. If you can't make it that early we're usually hanging around 'til 9:00 PM so come on out and show off what you got your baby for Christmas.

I'll be there I will bring photos ad info on my 2nd gen turbo II buildup/rebuild to see what you guys think. Bert I'm getting it painted next week, at least the engine bay, it's going to be HOK Kandy cobalt blue! I can't wait to get it running again, right this time, it's going to take alot of work though.

We'll miss you on the 8th, I'm very dissapointed that you'd schedule a trip to Hawaii in conflict with a Rotary Drive-In. Where are your priorities? I think johny is planning on coming and I'll get an update from him on the shirts.

Well I may not be able to come to this weekend either. My RX-8 has a blown radiator, it just sperated, and my RX-7 is still waiting for me to drop my new engine in. Hopefully my RX-8 will be fixed by then.

Did anyone attend the drive in today? Bitter cold and lazyness kept me in the house. ;)

i didnt go because of the ice on some spots, wednesday i was out and had a fight with a guardrail, it did 2000 in damage to the left front and rear of my car, will be about 2-3 weeks to get it all fixed

Aww man, sorry to hear that bro. I hope they are taking good care of your baby. Wednesday was quite interesting. I had an rx8 drifting event on 540 and I made the news at triangle town center. I ended up parking it at a dairy queen near my house and walking home.
