24500 Otd

What do you guys think. The local dealer has a base 6 speed (04) that I am working on getting. I am thinking of offering 24500 out the door, and was wondering if you think that is too much of low ball. They have to get rid of the 04's right? With some of the deals you guys have been getting, I dont think this is too much of a long shot, but I would like to hear if this is reasonable or not. Or should I be expecting a quick go to hell :D

Alright guys, heres the deal. I offered 24.5 out the door, and he said he would do it for 25k. I dont think thats too bad. It is a silver 6 speed base (what I wanted). Only bad part is, is that it has 80 test drive miles on it. Which sucks of course, but I still think that I can brake in the motor properly, huh? Its not like it has 400 on it. So do you think that is an alright deal? Sorry to bug you, but this is my first car purchase, and dont want to get screwed. Thanks

Invoice is $25,179, so $25K is not a good price.

25k out of door? so that's about 23.5 sale price? not bad at all

make sure they have all the TSBs/flashes done before delivery though.

for a 2004 model, look up what dealer invoice is on it, and subtract $3500. You shouldn't pay anymore than that due to the current mazda incentives.

Thanks for the replies guys. Its 25k out the door, as in I pay no more money than 25k. The 25k includes TT&L. So I am paying about 23 to 23.5k for the car before tt and l.

Thanks quack p, It took a few days of "playing the game", but hopefully I will sign the papers tommorow and be done with it.
