Hey guys, I was wondering what effects would be created by changing the spark plug gap. Leading plug... trailing plug(or whatever they are called)... i'm not too firmiliar with the rotary design  . Has anyone tested any different gaps?

can you even gap a rotary engine spark plug??? there's no 'tip' to adjust it... it should come pre-adjusted ready for use...
ah i see, like i said im a rotary noob :o

The gap comes preset from NGK. I wouldn't mess with the gap because if you open it up too much you could end up taking out your apex seals.

Umm I just change out my stock with a brand new stock pair of NGK and I widened the gap because the DIY said I could widen it to .059 (leading) and .055 (trailing) I adjusted them to .040 (which was wider than what they came out of the box) but you say they come out the box at .048. I hope I didn't mess anything up.:banghead:
