Options? Preorder? How?
Can someone explain the process of preordering a car without knowing the options that are available to you? I started to take a deeper look into giving some money to a dealer, but other than "for an 8" what am I ordering? It seems odd that you can preorder a car before it has a set list of features/options that I can get ordered with it.
At focus mainly here is the Stereo System. There has been much talk about it, but I've read so much I feel like I know less than when I started. In a car built like the 8, the dash and wheel controls aren't going to take kindly to aftermarket equipment, so what do I tell the deal? Just drop in whatever is nicest? And then I hope they dont charge me 2grand for it I guess....

There aren't very many options to go on here. There are two drivetrains, Manual or Automatic, and Three Trim models (Sport, Touring and Grand Touring). Oh, and you can get the Nav option on any car for $2k.
Go to MazdaUSA.com website & pull up the RX-8, then select 'Features & Specs'. You can also select the Printable Version which goes into greater detail of all that comes with the RX-8, and in what packages.
