I'm gon be gettin' a new car this coming summer. its hella hard for me to say what type of car im gon get. everyday passes by and i keep on contemplating on which one im gonna choose. i donno i feel so excited that so many new sports cars will be available for me. well the ones i would like to choose are :
nissan 350z
mazda rx-8
lexus is300
infiniti g35
for some reason i think the is300 is nice but then i remember its way toooo played out. someone on the post said they see bmw 3 series like raindrops. psh i do too but yeah is300 is becoming one of those as well. it kind of sucks to see so many peeps out there to have my car....makes me feel so normal.
next i think the 350z is a nice 2 seat sports car. thats the only problem i feel tho. i hangout almost every fri-weekend and it sucks to have no seats. it really gives me a disadvantage when i want to bring people.
the mazda rx-8 is problem my favorite for now. i just feel very excited just to see it. i wanna see the car in real life. jeez i feel so jealous from those who have. well the car has 4 seats but i donno if its got good mileage or anything. then u gotta get all these options u might not want when u want leather seats. that is probably the worst part about it. well i believe if i can find one i think i want it. i cant preorder...lol i dont got no 1k. my area makes us putdown a whole lot of money.
the last car is g35 infiniti. donno what to say but this is a nice car. its pretty fast but i think 350z is much more better of a car. it looks more sporty than the g35. the g35 is just mroe luxurious.

whoa ok im finished. well i donnoo people help me out or something. these cars are something that im looking forward too. im gon have to test drive probably all of them till i feel the most comfortable with whichever car. ok thanks all!

i am sure everyone here will say just do a search and you will find threads that make comparisions.. but like you said, just wait till the 8 comes out and test drive all the cars... or go read a comparision from a mag

It shouldn't matter what car anyone else has. For me what I look for in a car is something that has good amount of power/handling, looks and comfort. Price is a huge factor. I myself wouldn't care about getting a car everyone else has.

No offense but you're shopping for $30k cars and don't have $1,000 to put down? Coming into some money this summer? ;)

personally if I had the cash I would go with the rx8 in a heartbeat, I got to sit in the titanium one at the Det. auto show, and the black one looks awesome!

It ROCKED! pictures don't do it justice, you don't get the 3D effect, it's hard to describe, the car looks badass.
All i could do was stand there and stare at it for minutes at the time (probably drove my wife nuts)
I really like the inserts, although they could be a bit much after a while, I would want dark gray inserts or something, allthough the red ones look awesome too.

Thank you for your response miztic. "drool, drool" I haven't been able to determine if I made the right choice about colours but now I feel much better. At least I'll be able to sleep better now.

What I would do is test drive the nissan 350z, lexus is300 and infiniti g35 right now to find the most suitable car for you of the three (and also see how much below MSRP you can get them at - note that the IS300 has some pretty good lease deals). When the RX-8 comes out in May/June test drive the RX-8 back to back with the winner from round 1 to see which you like better and what fits your wallet best. Note that the RX-8 looks far better in real-life than in photos (in case you haven't seen it at a motor show).

Of course you may discard the 350Z even before a test-drive - just decide if you will EVER want to use the rear-seats. If you will then the 350Z drops from the list.

If you don't have your pre-order and deposit in on an RX-8 already, then you won't be getting an RX-8 this summer! If you're only going to be putting money down in summer, you'll be waiting a few months for delivery...

only 4 more days... or you'll be waiting about one year unless you pick up a dealer pre-ordered car for MSRP++.

i think that if i was to get the rx-8 it wouldnt be too hard for me. i called my dealership up and they didnt even want me to deposit. they said theyd have some in april and i could probably buy it if i wanted to or i can jsut order and itd probably take only a month. i dont know about all this but mebbe some of us are getting too worried and mazda is just trying to play around with us. mebbe they will be nice and bring lots of rx-8's to the ground...who knows???? its not summer......and if there are very few.....thats kind of sad....but i could get a different car....but i will be sad without the rx-8 because it is the car of my choice for now. it is very exciting to see what is to come within the next couple of months...mazda....you are very smart in making people so crazy over your rotors!!!!!!!!!!
