Best combo of struts and springs for track?

Hi guys,

Does anybody have any experience on track with either the Bilstein B12 kit (B8 dampers and Eibach -25mm springs I think?) or with Koni Yellows and H&R springs?

I'm erring towards the Koni/H&R combo, but I'm worried that they might be too low.

Just to clarify, my budget does not extend to coil-overs and I'm screwed by German regs that require TüV approval for springs or coil-overs - this eliminates 90% of brands and leaves you with the big boys only.

I did a bit of searching and found this Koni challenge race car on Konis and H&Rs, but that's all it says. I have no idea if they're 'off the shelf' items or how they performed.

Cheers,
Dale

I have H&R springs and Tokico shocks. The springs really lower the car to the point it can't be driven in the winter. I scrub on all speed bumps and when entering/leaving some home driveways. I want to put a front spoiler on the car, but I can't until I replace the springs. The spring rates don't seem to bad, it's just how low the car sets with them on.
I can't recommend them for a car driven on the street.

Thanks. My car is only ever driven on track - 90% of the time on the Nürburgring in public hours. It might get driven down the back roads to Spa or the Autobahn to Hockenheim. But that's it!

I believe the H&R springs are progressive? Are they stiff enough to cope with street-legal semi-slicks?

They are suppose to be progressive. I haven't had this car on an aggressive tire.
