When I push down on the clutch pedal the sound goes away. When I take my foot off it sounds like something is scraping while spinning. I've always noticed it but never thought it could be an issue until one of my friends said that it shouldn't be doing that. Does anyone else hear this sound?

 

Mine does that too. Only thing I can think of is the throw out bearing is goin bad.

It's the input shaft of the transmission spinning when you let the clutch out... tell your friend he's dumb, nothing is wrong with it.

 

If the bearing was going bad, it would make a noise when you depress the clutch,when its under load. I cant hear it that well, mine makes,or made a noise , its the transmission spinning internally.

 

OH!... I feel stupid lol Thanks! I never even noticed it until my brother in law said something about it.

not gunna lie but when i first got my car i thought something was wrong with it too...but in other news,
