First let me say that I did do a search before I started this thread.

I was looking for insight from those that have installed the illuminated shift knob. How extensive is the installation process? Do you have to take off the boot to get to the wiring harness, and is the needed wiring harness already installed on the car?

Any information you could give would be helpful.

If you've already gotten the kit, then it should come with the installatioin manual??
