Is this it? Where is your MAF? What exactly are we looking at here? A shield over the intake? Or is this the custom intake tube?

NP. It was for my benefit and the rest of the forum ;)

What you see in the picture is a sheild to keep the engine heat away. Under it is a Cone filter attached to the stock intake tube with the air box cut way. It is fed by a velosity stack and tube from the front bumper. I put it together with parts I had laying around. I want to go with a different intake but not sure which one yet and this one serves it's purpose.
