Shinka and iceLink?

Shinka and iceLink?
So, from searching the forumn, i am led to believe that the shinka's sirius unit takes up the cd changer port on the back of the RX8 HU so that i cannot use it for the dension iceLink?!?!
Is this correct? Can i not install an ipod on a shinka?
Am i forced to FM modulate?!?!
