Can't quite remember mine, but I think its around there. dru8999 02-15-2004, 05:28 PM Hehe, mine was only 6km when i first saw it and 9km when i took delivery of my car. This was after the inspector at the STA inspection ctr took the car for a complete round around the inspection building. I knew it bcos I was there and witnessed the entire inspection. The primary reason for being there is to ensure that the rear quarter windows were Ok and they were. The supervisor even came out and explain the LTA's stand on the rear windows max allowed tint level to me. So 4 all of u who have got clear quarter windows and would like to have it restored to the original ones, just contact ur dealers as I am sure they still have the glass. Congrates on your car. Couple of hip-ups for my case, but hope could get my car this week. As for the rear window, are you saying you went in with the original tinted window? And they approve that?? Please clarify. cheers dru8999 02-15-2004, 10:25 PM Tats is correct. I went in with the original tinted quarter glass 4 my inspection n it passed. They even took fotos n submitted 2 LTA. Also tested with their meter which gave read-out which conform with what the law permits. M-ster 02-15-2004, 10:42 PM Originally posted by dru8999 Tats is correct. Sorry for being so 'lo soh'. Thanks again. dru8999 02-15-2004, 10:57 PM Rear windscreen replaced. Original too dark! M-ster 02-15-2004, 11:28 PM Got it! Thanks! Neon 02-16-2004, 10:37 AM Mine was 20+ when i first saw it, then 50+ after about 3 weeks. Damn those bastxxrds sure took it for a ride!! My PI i mean, no names mentioned..... dru8999 02-16-2004, 04:50 PM The main reason for the low mileage on my unit when i took delivery is bcos the car was transported on flat-bed when it was moved fr port to showroom to have the rear glass replaced and again fr showroom to inspection ctr and back to showroom again. Even the inspector told me this is rare as most PIs would just get someone to drive the car to the inspection ctrs. Daverx 02-16-2004, 08:42 PM mine too....the PI must be enjoying the ride!!! mine i think more than 50km.......    |
