Hello all,

I just got a Rx-8, grey with black cloth; automatic with touring pkg. I got it for under invoice, so I was pretty psyched about that. I just turned 18, I am a senior in high school and work for my dad part time. A little bit about me, I was an all-state running back in high school last fall and I am a BMW fanatic (parents own 760i and X5).
This is now my fourth car, '97 Sebring Conv., '03 Hyundai Tiburon, '03 Saab 9-3. The latter two of my vehicles were lemons unfortunately. I was where to go for mods, besides this site, I looked at tirerack for wheels, but they don't have any wider than 9/5".
I am also looking for some info on people's experience in the snow, I get my snow tires next week and am wondering what to look forward too. I look forward to being on this board for rougly 5 years, then I will be out of college and will sell this beast for a M4 coupe.

Welcome...enjoy your new 8! Snow tires are a must...it has awesome handling in the snow with the right tires! I put mine on my stock rims but many buy new rims along w/the tires. I paid $100 to have them put on. Good luck to you!

4th car? Jesus. Lucky you. I'm hoping to get an rx-8 used when i get out of college. You're father must be paying pretty well. where do you go to school out of curiosity. Enjoy the car...
