I just noticed on canzoomers web site that they had the group buy option for 10 or more. Is anyone planing one of these. I think everyone from this forum should be considered to be a group but? What are everyone elsed thoughts on this.

What we think doesn't matter. This is CanZoomer's product, so the only opinion that matters is his.
Having said that; CanZoomer how about clarifying your position relative to what makes a group and how such a sale would be handled?

I agree a group buy should be 10 units purchased at the same time shipping to one location. That makes the most sense to me.

Anyone who purchases 10 or more units can buy at the $500 price point. Our new price list, effective Jan. 28th, 2004 reflects this.

Whether as a group buy, a dealer, or otherwise.
We also have larger volume discounts, but only for pre-authorized dealers.

Having said that there are a couple of facts about group buys that need to be stated:

A) A person organizing a group buy is NOT an agent for us.
Whatever representations they might make are their own only, and do not represent the opinions, policies or statements of Canzoomer, or Hard Data Ltd.


B)One should take appropriate steps to ensure one's own comfort with sending the organizer money, credit card #'s or other exchanges. We do not guarantee that if you send someone else your money that you will get ANYTHING.
We do not vouch for their authority, honesty, or capability.
While we do not suggest that organizers of a group buy should post the names of the group members in public, due to privacy reasons, if they submit the details to us we can provide a response to the members as to when and what payment we have received, and when product was shipped, and to where.

This will only be possible if the group buy organizer(s) contact us and provide us the necessary information.

C) We will treat these orders priority exactly the same as any other order.
We put them in our delivery queue based on the order we receive the order form and payment.

D) Warranty & Support - We will provide the same level of waranty & support for a group buy owner as we would for an individual order.

E) Dealers - If you buy our products through a dealer, then the dealer selling you our products are your first line of assistance.
If you can not get a matter resolved through your dealer, then we will accept requests for assistance if you provide us with full and complete information to respond to. Any claims, warranties, or terms provided by a dealer that might superced our stated policiesis the responsibility of the dealer ONLY, and is not provided by Canzoomer.

Geez, you've posted in at least three of the group buy threads now! Did you even bother to read those threads??? If you had, you'd have seen that the deadline for being part of those group buys was months ago. Stop asking to be included in those group buys that are already closed and near delivery!

Right now, I don't know of any other group buys being organized - you are very welcome to be the organizer and start your own group buy, per the guidelines posted by Canzoomer above.

actually you might be able to get one from the group buy NUMBER 2 people are tired of waiting so go to the thread were you see group buy 2 and post there that your looking for a stage 1 offer a few $$$ more of what they payed for and you might just strike a deal .
