Crazy NA setups?

Can anyone lead me in the right direction on how to build the renesis to max NA power levels. My goal with the car is to have super high response motor for autocross and track events not drag racing. i dont want ac or anything but i want to work at having one of the max NA motors on the board lol.

you want the MAX NA motor on the board? do as the race teams do and use a $10K MoTeC standalone, assuming you could find anyone to tune it.

i think the max we've seen here is ~220whp. to achieve those kinds of numbers you're probably looking at extensive customization of intake/exhaust, light fly/cluth/PP, and some very good professional tuning.

on the other hand you can reach ~200 simply get rid of the cat, and have a quality tune. (like what MM can provide with his service)

possibly, if you were willing to significantly alter the powerband and characteristics of the motor in terms of power delivery and response. but even then, how much are you really gonna get out of it and how much money are you willing to waste building the biggest *****?

not trying to be a dick, but you mention auto-x and track events, yet mention nothing about classes or regulations governing mods that would apply if you had any real idea or goal of what you were shooting for. sounds like you just want to do what you can for the sake of doing it and/or fun. and willing to bet you specify NA for one of two reasons... 1)money or 2) reliability

well.... 1) you can easily spend more trying to make miniscule NA power than many FI builds and 2) this has a lot of factors, primarily tuning quality, and knowing what you're doing in the first place. either way it is not a reason alone to disregard the route.

either way i think you first need to have some sort of idea what you're shooting for, what limitations you may have, etc... maybe you've already thought all of this uot, if so, spill. then ppl here can help better. otherwise none of the 20 new threads per week titled "help me build the mostest baddass...." get any serious attention

stuff popping up about ITB's
how do you plan to control them? you're already setting yourself up to walk into standalone engine management territory. and even on the cheap end, its NOT cheap

not trying to have a ***** contest. I really just havent found much about NA tuning and its true im not sure what classes to be in because im new to it but i want to get in it. Also if i was to do a FI setup what kind of setup is going to be the most efficant for a auto-x or track event. Supercharger or turbo

i dont have the track experience that many do here, but i guarantee you the first thing they would say(cause i've seen it so many times) is that you should first get wheel time. learn the car, and how to drive it. then your first upgrade should be tires.

during this period you can get a feel of what kind of racing/class you want to be involved in

Test pipe + Accessport + BHR Ignition + MM tune = as good as it gets within all practical reason

If you wanted to go nuts and spend a whole season modding/dynoing you might find a little more power, but you'd spend more finding it than if you had just bought a nice turbo setup

Nemesis8 is doing a NA build worth following. The motor was built by Mazmart with Iannetti Ceramic Apex Seals and ported using Racing Beats templates. Custom exhaust and tuned by MM. Bunch of other mods as well.

R-Magic NA renesis can get 288ps but the final cost will be easily few times more compare to a BOT or supercharge. Just the coil set and its relocation kit cost near to US$2k, exhaust system another $3-4k. What do you think? For those normal NA mod, after spending so much, I think non of anything worth the money, including a complete Autoexe engine from Japan. Go for turbo/super charges or NOS else swap with other 13B or 20B.

Ah the NA experiment I have going - not sure what she will put down as for numbers. If you can hang until the end of May or early June, I should have dyno numbers.

A local member pulled 110.7 on a dyno jet with bpu; intake/pulleys/ptb/header/exhaust with race pipe/light fly/cluth no tune.

I can 100% vouch for that. Go to a HPDE, Open Track, Time Attack, or Driver's school @ a track near you. You'll see our car's advantages.

AccessPort + Catless mid pipe + tires are your cheapest upgrades with the most results....next to a driver mod.
