Hey guys whats up. I just recently joined rx8 club so im still pretty new to all this stuff. I have an rx8 and am wanting to install subs and all that other stuff.
Right now im focusing on the audio. I want to know what you guys think and your recommendations.

AMP-G-MAX Class D Monoblock Subwoofer Amplifier 1200 watts
SUBS-2 10W6v2 JL Audio Subs
Enclosures-2 4080 enclosures
wiring- should i get a wiring kit from like monstercable or streetwire or what?
Headunit- Should I get Alpine or Kenwood or Pioneer(I want Nav, Mp3, DVD, IPhone, etc.)
I will be also installing a carpc

Dang I hope you have about 2-3K for all that. I am slowly building my system and its soo much. The headunit and metra kit is the most expensive part. Expect to pay at least 700 for one with all the features you want.

 

+1....its nice when you can just walk into the store and pick up a good deal. It also hepls that I know a few guys who work there.

 

Not sure if the 10w6v2's come in a Dual 2 ohm version..... (I don't think they do).... If they don't, you'll need to pick a different amp. Two dual 4 ohm subwoofers can only be wired together for a final load of 4 ohms (only 600WRMS out of your amp) or to 1 ohm (that particular amp is not stable at this impedance). If you CAN find them in a dual 2 ohm version, you'll need those.
