Brettus 01-17-2010, 08:24 PM oh dear VS8 01-17-2010, 08:43 PM well his name is 360nos... MazDangerous86 01-17-2010, 09:44 PM Direct port nitrous, water/meth injection, and CO2 lines through intake mani. Pfft. Good luck with that. Truth is, you want any observable, cost effective, and SAFE gain, go for FI. (and please try a little research first next time) 360nos 01-18-2010, 02:30 AM I did my research, balancing the rotors, CAI, Exhaust, FI, and possibly a computer upgrade. I was wondering if there were any smaller mods that are uncommon. My gas problem is fixed, I just had to disconnect my battery for awhile and let the computer adjust to the new amount of air flow. You guys aren't much help SayNoToPistons 01-18-2010, 04:49 AM you can get nawz to match your username, 360nawz. I heard you like nawz. The "guys" are just saying that this topic has been discussed over and over again in other threads. The largest net HP gain you'll get without FI is removing the cat for a straight pipe. Air intake, cat back, and even rotor balancing won't get you very much all. Also, any way you can make the lighter will obviously help too: less lbs = free speed, but again, very marginal. What do you mean "computer upgrade?" Like some racing chip or something? And disconnecting your battery doesn't fully reset your ECU. It does re-learn its fuel trims, but you should do a proper reset. 360nos 01-18-2010, 01:57 PM all I needed to do was re-learn my fuel trims Brettus 01-18-2010, 02:17 PM /\ why do people think that the computer is such a fool ............. Resetting it is a temporary thing - it will always go back to the same settings it had before anyway - all things being equal . 360nos 01-18-2010, 02:33 PM No, after a few miles it should adjust to the new amount of air flow Spin9k 01-18-2010, 02:43 PM I did my research, balancing the rotors, CAI, Exhaust, FI, and possibly a computer upgrade. You guys aren't much help oh dear ... if you think disconnecting the battery does anything... there's a lots of ebay peps that have stuff for you... like improving your mileage 40% with magnets and water, gaining 60Hp with a resistor, and putting spacers in your throttle body for more of whatever you need, plus grounding the hell out that sucker for HP improvements beyond belief (really!). |
