I bought a set of 255/40R-18 Yokohama AD08s and was wondering what tire pressure to use at the track. My initial thought was going to be 40psi hot. Is anyone else using these tires?

FYI, I'm on a stock suspension with about -1.5 degrees of camber all around.

I'm suscribing. I got the exact same tires 255/40/18 on 18x9.5 wheels and didn't had the chance to track them yet.

So far what is your feeling on the tires ?

I have three track days on them and I've been pretty happy. For street tires, they are fairly consistent when comparing lap to lap. But if pushing really hard (like sliding the car around constantly), they will overheat and start to drop off after a few laps.

Good to know, I guess they will be fine for me, I never do more than 15-20 minutes of track at a time.
