I have that x HKS Hi Power. It is loud, but IMO it isn't that bad, but others think its mad.

yes it will be loud...if you want a quieter midpipe, get the racing beat dual resonated or BHR midpipe

i'm running the AP mid pipe, but with my catback (borla), it's noticeably deeper and lower in tone compared to other 8's running the same midpipe with different catbacks...like you said it will be with the stock exhaust, so it really wont be loud at all cuz of how well the stock exhaust muffles sound

Its loud with my Greddy SP2. In my install thread (http://www.rx8club.com/showthread.php?t=169849) I have videos of driving it and revving it.
