Just installed K&N Typhoon Type 2 Intake

Ok so I finish installing the intake. Sounds a tad louder than what I wanted. But I do feel a bit of power on the top end. Its not much. But its there.
But 2 things that I dont like.
It does not fit correctly what I mean is that im not able to put the engine cover. The intake/heatshield is too back. If I push it out the vacuum hose wont fit right. so I cant get the cover on. Also I hear like a "turbo spooling" sound. Can this be a hose not in correctly? I checked them and they look fine. What you guys think? Also if you have this intake did you guys have this problem?

Riken, the noise you're hearing is the whistle of the intake cone itself, nothing to be worried about.

if you can't find it you can just buy the K&N recharge kit. it comes with a spray can of oil.

Lol ive had plenty of modded cars. It was a hose, all fixed now, thanks to a 54 cent clamp.

Rotard isnt wrong guys, hes referring to the dash VIBRATING from the loud intake, mine does at certain RPM's, yours will eventually too as your cars age.

Im surprised you say you feel a difference, Im almost certain I lost power with this intake!! haha. I just put a ram air duct on to itll actually be a 'cold' air intake as opposed to a 'hot engine air' intake.

I think the intake looks so sexy in the engine bay though, plus it adds plenty of sound which is cool.

All and all Im happy with mine also, but I do not believe this gives 10 horsepower as claimed.
