Some photos are posted here http://www.corriere.it/av/galleria.html?2004/gennaio/detroit&1

I also like this concept car by Dodge dor its design, 100 hp, 0-100 km/h in ten seconds

That car is based on the SMART Roadster, I think. With Chrysler ME 4 12, it seems like the DaimlerChrysler group is finally starting to share globally. With all this parts sharing, i wonder how long brand identity will last into the near future.

Anywho, check out www.autoextremist.com for their informative and opionated Detroit Auto Show review. Of recent I've become a fan of the site.

If a car looks as sporty as that concept (Slingshot?), it needs to be a lot quicker than 10sec from 0-62mph. As long as GM is buying engines from Honda and Toyota for Saturn and Pontiac, respectively, they should buy a Honda 1.6L VTEC for this car. The gas mileage would still be good, and it would be faster.

Sorry to be nitpicking, but it was a Dodge concept car, not a GM.

You're right, though... the car is nice but the engine should be better.
